PK: Pharmevo Goes Live With Sidat Hyder – Solutions for Pharmaceuticals

PharmEvo, one of the leading pharma companies, and Sidat Hyder recently celebrated ‘Go Live’ of Sidat Hyder Suite of Business Applications at the pharmaceutical company. The ceremony was held by PharmEvo on Tuesday, May 13th, 2008 at the Ramada Plaza Hotel. The companies celebrated the successful implementation and execution of Sidat Hyder – Financials, Human Capital Management (HCM) and Supply Chain Management System (SCM) at PharmEvo.

The ceremony was inaugurated by Mr. Haroon Qasim, Managing Director PharmEvo, shedding light on the vision of PharmEvo and its achievements in the healthcare industry. Mr. Qasim explained that PharmEvo required a fully functional, scalable and flexible solution to fit the company’s growing needs. He explained that the adoption of Sidat Hyder technology will improve PharmEvo’s visibility into qualitative and financial data, allowing it’s planning, production and finance departments to take accurate and timely decisions.

Watson Wyatt Worldwide in alliance with Sidat Hyder Morshed Associates conducted the Compensation Forum 2007 on 21st February 2007 at Karachi Sheraton. This meeting was especially designed for HR Professionals. The HR Division today is required to maintain a delicate balance of line management expectations, market pressures and corporate guidelines. This challenge becomes even more difficult when the compensation trends continue to witness fundamental changes. The most effective means of solving these issues comes from robust and reliable market data collection, and the opportunity to learn from other companies that frequently face these issues. About 55 companies from different sectors took part in this successful event. The forum covered a discussion on country specific compensation issues, as well as a more detailed look at some of the topics that have been affecting HR over the last 12 months. It also covered sector specific discussion on 2006 data trends as well as the upcoming 2007 MEA Compensation Survey.


Watson Wyatt has been successfully conducting compensation survey in the MEA region since 1997 and in Pakistan since 2002 with increasing participation of companies each year. Last year a total of 36 companies participated from Pakistan from various sectors including Pharmaceutical, Oil & Gas, Telecommunication & IT, and Financial sector. This year the Survey will be launched in the month of April and will hopefully cover a wider range of participation from MNCs as well as leading national companies.
